A Poets Corner

The wind whispers softly against my long hair
The blue in my eyes, sparkles with tears
The breeze makes soft music, the moon glows so bright
We can't stop tomorrow, but we still have tonight
I'll stand with you in the moonlight
My arms wrapped around you so tight
I won't let you go til the morning
When the dawn brings its first glow of light
I'll leave you with soft dreams of passion
Their warmth will encompass your soul
Tender offerings to stave off the darkness
Until I can hold you once more
